The Coalition of Homeowner Alliances Requiring Government Equity, or CHARGE, is a group of homeowners living in the vicinity of the Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH). We have created an organization with the following goals.
- Stay abreast of issues affecting the area
- Understand the desires of its members
- Ensure member issues receive fair and balanced representation
- Gain trust and support of our elected officials to affect desired change
Here is a list of the Charge Board Members .

CHARGE is lobbying for the City of Houston, the Houston Airport Systems and the FAA to:
- Raise the intercept level of airplanes landing at Bush back up to 3000 feet. They lowered it to 2000 in September or 2003.
- Change the flight paths to non-populated areas or compensate homeowners. Compensation to include a buy out of homes experiencing extreme noise at fair market value and insulating/soundproofing homes with elevated noise and pollution levels and compensate for lost equity.
- Monitor sound and air pollution in this area and act accordingly based on the results of that monitoring
- Implement noise abatement procedures at Bush IAH immediately
